How to Fix Neck Gap Between Mesh Body and Bento Head

How It Happen....?

So often this is happen when you are using a different set of mesh body and head in one avatar. Most of the time each different brand of mesh body vendor will provide a different skin texture map. This will resulted when you are using a different brand of mesh head, it will start showing some neck gap or neck line. This when the the head skin and the body skin meet up in the neck area and showing visible non match skin texture, either its color or texture. And you start thinking does my head are glued to the body because it seems so :D


How to Avoid It...

It always better to considering a same brand of mesh head and body when buying mesh. Because it will most likely will save you from the trouble. Because it also can save your time. Better than figuring out how you should fix it after you buy it, you can spend your time shopping for other things or doing some other fun things than thinking about the problem... Isn't it?

But If It Happen....

Well life are not always walk in a smooth way. So when it happen, just see this some option:
  1. A Skin Which Has Applier for Multi Brand Mesh Body/ Head. Now you should find a skin which has applier for both brand of your mesh body and head. Not all skin have multi applier but most have applier for Maitreya mesh body, also for Catwa head. Second row are Belleza and Slink mesh body and Lelutka mesh head. And be aware, not all mesh head skin are fit for bento head, just look carefully in skin product description before you buy it. Like to see which type/ name of head that the skin support.
  2. Omega Relay and Skin with Omega Applier. You should check whether your mesh body and mesh head are Omega Compatible. It means that your mesh body and head are having omega relay installed withing OR it support omega relay to change its skin. For example, you have Maitreya body and Catwa head. Both are support omega, so what you have to do next are, find an omega relay for Maitreya body and an omega relay for Catwa head. And so after it you need to attached omega relay together with your body and head HUD and you are now ready to use any skin that compatible with omega
  3. And when everything is back in vein, just wear some nice collar or choker. It should do the fix.
